1. Where is the TravelMate manufactured? We are proud to say, that it is manufactured in the USA.
2. Does the TravelMate meet FDA requirements? Yes, it meets all U.S. government regulations for Class 1 (non-indwelling) urine collection devices.
3. Is the TravelMate reusable? Yes. It is environmentally and pocketbook friendly – meaning it can be washed and reused many times. Cost per use is just a few pennies.
4. I’m concerned about allergic reactions. What material is the TravelMate made out of? Polyethylene.
5. I’m going to be away from clean water for a while, and will need to pee several times before I have the opportunity to clean the TravelMate. What do you recommend? Buy several and put the dirty ones in a plastic zip- lock bag, and wash them all at once when you find clean water, or carry our sanitizing sprayer along with you to wash it out to reuse.
6. How difficult it is to use the TravelMate? It is not difficult, it just takes practice. We suggest you practice at home until you feel comfortable using it in public places?
7. Do you need to use toilet paper with the TravelMate or Magic Cone? No. When urinating, both will wipe up residual urine.
8. What Feminine Hygiene Product do you feel is the easiest for my daughters, 8 & 11 to use? Generally speaking, the Magic Cone is the easiest to use. It doesn’t take any practice to use it – except for the fact that it will be strange to them at first to pee standing up.
9. Can the Magic Cone be flushed down the toilet after use? No, the Magic Cone even though made of disposable cardboard should never be flushed down the toilet.
10. Can the Magic Cone be reused twice? We would never recommend that the Magic Cone be reused for hygienic reasons, but it is so strong, waterproof and durable that in most cases it may be reused twice. We suggest though that if you do, to always put it in a zip-lock bag.
11. What safeguard do you have to protect my credit card? We use PayPal. They have an excellent reputation for safeguarding credit cards.
